I know what you mean... but the analogy is off. I mean, the model itself, you have to admit, is worth that amount. The model to a fan is worth a lot less than what a true Na'vi model would be because it's obvious what was missed. No true fan would want this for accuracy.

Yeah i have no idea either and that makes me sad
 because i want Neytiri statuette with all navi features especially tail tuft, and indeed he have in his offers normal human model for less then 1k $.
