Great work! The texture is looking awesome, and I can't wait to see how the hair comes along. As one not well-acquainted with the process of modelling this stuff, it's very fun and informative to watch it come together like this.

Thx for the feedback about the fingers, i made them longer then human, i think even longer then they seem in the pic but perhaps not long enough. Looking at Prowler's signature up here you could be right! Ill go look for some screenies.
I'm glad to hear it now, its easy to change now but a pain later on so thx again

Hmmm seems the fingers arent even that long except for her middle finger, and also the palm of her hand is longer then well us humans
.Should have looked alot more at all the refs at the start, got too carried away in the moddeling back then. Haha theres a lesson in here Shouldnt be too hard to adjust tho, btw HD pictures thread is awesome, wish i found it earlier. From Susano'o:

i think why it looks long (and i noticed it too) is because it's based on our hand if we had no pinky. cover your pinky and the palm section which continues along the side down to your wrist, your palm looks long doesn't it?

When i started modeling to change her hands a little it turned out the low resolution version had gotten corrupted somehow
Thank god i save as a new file all the time instead of overwriting, pfew ![]() So been a bit frustrating, no idea how it happened, software has crashed a couple of times maybe that caused it or i did something wrong. Oh well, next to fixing things i also did the eyelashes, almost done now then its time to start experimenting with hair ![]() Glad to be back on track again!

Wonderful profile. I can't get over how good the likeness is. Eyelashes look great.
Sorry to hear about the crashes! I can't count how many hours of work I've lost to various Adobe apps crashing. I hope AutoDesk's support is better than that!

thx and haha well i'm not sure ill start on Jake after this.
Building another Navi character would go alot faster but its still alot of work. Guess ill see when i get there ![]() Did some test builds to create dynamic hair and i have an idea on how to do it. Worked very well in a few testcases i made but its going to take a while to manually create all the braids,think i need atleast 50 or so to get her skull filled with them, ugh ![]() The hair itself will look alright hopefully but i worry about how the braids are connected to the skull that will look rather fake i fear. Not going to make full hair cause i would have to render in layers and well my old pc doesnt seem to like it much, too heavy. But first i'm going to have a look in the HD pictures thread to see what the braids look like and if she has beads and wraps in them, not sure about the big ponytail
