...Awesome. I sat in that exact seat when I saw Avatar in IMAX, as it happens.

My seat depends entirely on the size of the theater and the format. In a large RealD3D theater, I sit right about in the middle of the middle In a small RealD3D, I sit about 1/3 of the way back in the middle. For IMAX 3D, and especially film IMAX, I've found I need to be back pretty far. In my nearest digital IMAX, there is a railing in front of the top tier of seating, I always sit in the front row of that, right in the center of the row. The railing isn't in the field of view, and there is about a 15 foot opening, so you can stretch out completely.

i always make reservations for fourth row from the back and than in the middle or the love seat, when it is a late night showing and i do not expect to much other people, so i can make myself comfortable in the chairs ghe ghe
