Sounds good... I'm not so knowledgeable about American schools, but that sounds about equivalent to Sixth Form. Now that was a great time, sounds very similar. Most of my days were 8:40 to 12:20, and being able to do so much more than everyone else was good, but what I also liked was how teachers treated people far more like equals rather than idiots.

Yeah, I mean, I mostly did runway, but I did some pictures for portfolios.
Lol. And most of the pictures I did you can't really do for just a snapshot, so I just smile haha.
Good luck with the modeling career! It can be brutal

Honestly though, I'm just in it because it's something kinda cool and interesting to do. As soon as I don't enjoy it anymore I'm gone- I have about 7 other 'full time' hobbies that I continue to do to fall back on

And Stanley- I ended up with basically the same marks out of highschool, high B's and mid A's.
However, then I failed my first year of University.

.. At least I found out what I don't like to do!

I also did the same thing as a couple other people... Once you hit university/college, you realize how uncool you actually were. But on the other hand, it really opens your eyes to new people, experiences, and a whole bunch of other stuff!
As for the photography stuff, if you're looking at working with models do a bunch of TF (Trade for CD/Pics/etc) shoots for free with people from your area on ModelMayhem.com. It's a great place, I literally started in November and got scouted by an agency last month. Not full-time obviously, but it's fun

Send me a PM if you want and I can talk to you more about it, help you out, or we could even do some shoots if you're in my area or if I know anyone from yours!
Awesome thanks for the tips! I eventually want to work with models but doubt I will be good enough lol. Only experience I have is from shooting air shows with a friends camera. I'm thinking of getting a D90. Where are you located?

Oh gosh, high school...that was, uh, twelve years ago for me at this point.

We had great fun senior year. One of the most memorable events was senior skip day...oh yes, we planned it all out, the teachers knew about it, and a bunch of us actually met at school to carpool out to western MA and have fun at Six Flags (rollercoasters and such). (And I actually managed to be valedictorian on top of it all .)

Here's me, anyway, since this is a picture thread!

^^ agreed You still got your whole lives ahead of you guys/girls. But take it slow too, once you graduate, have to get a job, pay taxes, you might realize high school wasn't so bad after all. Lose some gain some

(BTW I'll be 19 this month)

ha! I have TWO years left. Ugh. I cannot stand the immaturity lol.
Of course...I suppose I'm kind of immature too, but still.
I don't like high school, but I don't want to grow up either. Can I go off to Neverland like in Peter Pan?

Just wait until you are almost graduating college (next month) and then facing a crappy economy (at least in the US anyway since I don't know where you're from).
