Who would you like to see in the cast of Avatar 2?

Obviously there will be some new people on the cast, so who would you like to be on it?



I've always found Matt Damon to be a good serious actor, capable of conveying realistic emotions and motives. I mean look at him as Jason Bourne or even him in the Adjustment Bureau (sure the plot was odd, but he did some great acting). I'd love to see him as a soldier, a real soldier (no more of this "kill them all" mentality of the first movie, but a soldier who actually thinks about what he is doing). Also I heard FOX wanted him for the role of Jake in the original film (which I think he would have done a fine job of).



However if the next movie is determined to have another Quartich type character, why not go with the current king of action, Jason Statham. Although he has played a more realistic character in Snatch, he has made his name with the Crank and Transporter series as an over the top action star. With an actor like him, you can have dirty smarter tactics. I picture him being part of an elite hit squad sent to destabilize the Na'vi (just so long as the rest of the Expendables cast doesn't get to come along).



Angelina Jolie has been in her fair share of action movies, from Tomb Raider to Salt. She'd make a good avatar, especially if soldiers are avatars this time instead of scientists. Or maybe she could be a Na'vi, but I don't see her being a particularly good one. Also who wouldn't mind an avatar with big... erm... lips, yes that's what I meant to say, lips.
