Uh...
Not sure if you've ever seen/heard it, but some people are born with tails. Thing is, they usually don't come with intact nerves, properly constructed muscles, or vertebrae, so it's more or less just a long sack of skin hanging limply above their posterior. ...However, it is worth adding that it would theoretically be possible to manipulate the gene(s) that control apoptosis in the human tailbone so that the undifferentiated cells could divide and differentiate into a properly formed tail.
