![]() I am back from the shadows ![]() Again, I am very happy to see all your replies. I'll try to reply to all in this message, hope it's all right?? @Eltu: we’ll PM when the time is right. @Tsawke Iheyu: ohhh, the flood experience must have been a strong one. I haven’t been thru such “Nature’s wrath” altho I had the Death at a hair breadth from my nose on more than one occasion (but I am still here so that’s meant to be ). But your phrase that the people were not united caught my attention, too. Being scared is a natural emotional reaction, in fact, fear plays its important part in the survival – it warns you of a danger. But in such situations to put the panic “on hold” and do what one can in spite of being scared – it’s bordering with heroism and it is also the rightest thing. Like during the tsunami 2004: there was a girl on the beach who studied oceanology, & she instantly knew by the state of the sea that a tsunami was coming. I guess she was extremely scared, too, but instead of running for her life she chose to run around the beach and to shout the warning to everybody - & I am sure she saved many lives. Coming back to being united or not – “Divide and rule” was the reason of many invasions being successful. And sometimes I think: Do we always need a Toruk Makto to call us for union? Or are we able to open our eyes & learn just a bit from the past? About the Goddess... I can say more, if you are interested , ask here – or PM me. @Fosus: about sharing dreams – gladly! In fact I’ve been waiting for this invitation for quite a while... The options that I see: 1. PM-ing. Normally I prefer to keep it private (the reasons are in our conversation with Eltu in the beginning of the thread). But sometimes I break my own rules when I just can’t shut up – like this time. 2. For this (a very important experience that you really feel like sharing in public)... There’s a thread called Pandora Dreams (or smth). It’s a good option but the problem is that I write a lot & my dreams are very long, cinematographic & full of details, & if yours are similar, it will be walls & walls of text. A possible solution is... 3. Erm... a new topic under General Forums? For dreams, & also coincidencies, flash (or not) visions, meditations... the “out there” stuff . Maybe it could be called 6D Vision or smth. I am sure many ToS inhabitants would like an opportunity to “unload & download” this type of data. Especially in terms of learning something from the experiencies, SEEing... I guess at least one administrator is “watching us right now” (like Navi were watching the Dreamwalkers). So... just an idea. I promise you, not all my dreams are to send chills down your spine . Some are very full of hope & inspiration, I wanted to share them but was not sure about the response. Maybe I’ll be braver, now that you’ve inspired me ![]() . @Isard: yes, I agree that news travel faster. And that natural disasters have been happening on this planet long before humans were here. Japan, for one, has a long sad history of tsunamis & earthquakes. But what is really worrying is when the force of the natural disaster is aggravated by the human interference. Like this nuclear threat now in Japan. Or like a landslide in Africa: it would have happened anyway, but the fact that the trees on the mountain slope were cut by a wood company meant that their roots were not holding the soil anymore, thus the impact was much worse that it could have been otherwise. Sadly, the people who lived on that mountain came there trying to escape from a war And so on and so forth.@Aurora: yeah, you know a bit more about my dreams than anybody on ToS - weird, eh. And I know you “impersonally well enough”, & that it’s not the first time you fall gravely ill when an ecological disaster happens. Dreams could be an answer of why it is happening to you, & what you’re supposed to do with your personal Earth pain. I mentioned maybe writing for some green life magazine, or giving classes on ecology could be a way to “channel the pain”. Why not? You’re a good writer, Dr. Grace ![]() Anyway, to conclude... in some strange way, I am even glad that the Nature showed its muscles and said: “I am the boss!” Maybe it will make us think... for a change... |
