For me, the credits really don't bring me back to reality though, in a way I have to force my mind back into this world, or I would just stay sitting there.

Same -- I never leave before the movie is completely finished. I wouldn't say that Avatar's credits bring me back to reality, but at least the transition is a bit less jolting than being shoved back into the real world the second "AVATAR" fades off the screen.

Aww, now I want to go watch Avatar again.
