Platsil seems pretty flexible and skin-like. I'm told it's what John Travolta used in Hairspray.

Just had an email to tell me that my Avatar contact lenses will ship shortly nang! Can't wait to try them!

Tried (and failed) to paint some face stripes I'm happy with. Left the prosthetic as is, will add the stripes on day it is applied (31st!) and blend them in. Will paint on a darkish grey line for eyebrows rather than attempt to hair punch them as my trial with a test piece looked rubbish. Not fully happy with the texture of prosthetic- up close it looks painted rather than skin like, but I think it's best to leave it for now.

Have also made adjustments to the tail (some of the hair tuft came out last October and I have now fixed this).

Spliced more hair into the queue- it's now down to my waist just as it should be. Will be doing a paint test today.

More pics to come! Currently testing this 'skin-tite' prosthetic appliance material by using it to temporarily stick a piece of off-cut prosthetic to my arm. It's curing now. Let's see how strong this stuff really is...

Wearing 18mm scleral contacts now! Wow these things are huge and heavy and feel significantly different from my usual monthlies! They look strange on their own but with the prosthetic in place they make much more sense. Can't wait to try them on the day!

A little early, but I've started work on a new prosthetic. I'm beginning to really 'get' Na'vi nose shapes now in a way I didn't before.

Nice work, I think you got a good compromise between Na'vi like and still fitting the face, some of the prosthetics I have seen end up going overboard one way or the other

Thanks. I think I might be able to adjust the nostrils a little more though without going overboard.
