I also am amazed by the similarity between dreams and reality. I've been practicing lucid dreaming for about a year now (where you are aware that your dreaming in a dream). When I have free time I really enjoy reading about the concept and how Quantum Mechanics can (kind of) make sense of it.

I am a firm believer of many things beyond the reality we see, not just because there is evidence to support it, but also even more beyond that. Ever heard of quantum non-locality? It's precisely what that article describes. What book is that from? I might be interested in reading it as well.
