Eh, not really.

The soft gel ones are kind of sticky, so they're hard to lose.

They are also very comfortable, since they are made of material that has similar physical properties to an eyeball.

Oh, now I get it...

It's obvious that they CAN be lost (very) easily (if you're not careful). The few times that I have dropped one on the floor/etc. I've always found them afterwards.

I agree. I've heard about the early/old types of lenses, being quite stiff and having a tendency of popping out from ones eyes if you winked too fast. Must have been really uncomfortable.

This time with a special guest!

Sorry in advance for the stuttering; I was trying to hurry to fit all of what I had to say/wanted to say in 15 minutes, and I almost didn't make it. .__.

Interesting video, again

As for lenses (long conversation ), most types (the larger soft ones) are extremely hard to actually lose if you have them in right, because in effect, they stick to the eye, although if your eyes are watering a lot due to allergies or similar or the lens is damaged (they can get small splits in them fairly easily if you aren't careful) then it is easier to lose. The main way to 'lose' them is dropping them while putting them in or taking them out, due to being small and transparent, but you soon learn to notice them on the floor.
I love them, both because I prefer how I look without glasses, but for the practicality as they let me run, mosh, etc, as well as a wider field of vision than glasses (and won't break). Water is fine as long as I don't try to open my eyes underwater too. Taking them out before sleeping is only a minor inconvenience, and I have fallen asleep with them in, which isn't particularly bad, just makes your eyes feel weird the next morning, although it is not a good thing to do regularly.

Underground? Yes please.

I was invited to go to an underground rave friday, so I was like, "HELL YES" of course, and after work set out for the destination... first meet a guy in a red honda civic, give him the password, he gives me directions, go from there. Got the directions, and followed them to the base of a mountain near Lake Elsimore. Drove about 5 miles up the mountain (following another underground rave-goer there) and along with some confusion on street names (come to find out they re-named a street and google maps didnt fix it) and on the way up the mountain out of sheer coincidence met my rave friend who invited me in the first place. from there we drove (me, my rave friend and his girlfriend, and about 6 cars behind us) drove for about 10 miles through this paved (but a bit beaten up) backtrail to the spot. We paid, got in, parked, and got our stuff and had fun for the night in the middle of the mountains with blasting hardstyle/happy hardcore/drum & Bass/house music. I even got to DJ a set for an hour. So I provided some pictures of my night... what an amazing night... long live the underground rave scene

It got foggy up there at some points, so thats why the picture is all grainy, but its me (left to right) my friend Jared (who invited me) and his girlfriend Gabrielle.

Gabrielles epic kandi masterpieces

The DJ set I DJ'd on (unfortunantly no pics of me DJ'ing )

Wish i could've gotten more pics but it was dark and pretty foggy so i couldn't get good ones... I do have some videos of some guys performing with fire poi on my facebook if you're my friend may upload via youtube later

Heh.

I have like 20-30 sonic remixes on my ipod.

I also have complete in-box copies of all four of the older genesis games.

Those were some great games...

This will be the last you see/hear from me till Tuesday next week, will travel to Ukraine tomorrow with a school exchange project. Will be awesome!

By loveavatar

Got myself a pair of army/camo pants along with a pair of Dr Martens boots a while ago. That is my way to keep it metal. Gone like this to school a couple of times, fun to see everyone's reactions.
