The word "love" can be confusing as it can mean many different things. Perhaps the term we are looking for is "altruism" -- that is being motivated by a willingness to unconditionally do good for others.
The vast majority of problems in the world today are solvable yet everyone seems to be waiting for someone else to finally step up and do something about it, someone who is willing to devote his or her time, energy, and effort for everyone else's sake. I may be dreaming but someday, I hope for a world in which everyone fully places the needs of others before themself. In such a world where everyone would look out for each other, care for each other, and die for each other, there is very little that we cannot overcome.
