Thx all!
Well sorting the skin weights has been going far better then i expected earlier, i might not need to add muscles to drive the skin. The changes in Maya are really awesome  So ill see, muscles would add a little dept maybe but i might save that for a more muscular character. Anyway also another little update on her skin some of the guys here might enjoy. Pictures dont do really do justice here but you get the idea   And also another face blend:

her hair movemnts are awesome
 even her boobies jiggle up and down a bit  *and if you made her open her mouth and smile for the last one, you would have made an awesome face

Hey thx all
Well sorting the skin is about done. Finger movement is added and tweaked the rest alot to a point its ok i guess. Same pose as earlier, looks alot better now  Now to add more facial emotes, blinking etc. Will be fun to make more of those. Oh and for fun, Ney doing a salto Hmmm gotta sort some video posting way...

BTW i made a post in the fan fiction request section. Since work on Neytiri is getting done its time to think about what to put in a short animation, what it would be about and what else i would need (Jake, another char, etc). It cant be that much obviously cause its alot of work Perhaps someone wants to join in?

Wow. I'm speechless. You do a very great job. 'Cause I found this thread such a few minutes ago, I only see the first 5 pages, until now. But that's enough, to be very inspired.
Also, I'm really interested in 3D modeling and just started to work with maya and other software like this, by reason that I want to study 3D-Animation. But I'm just at the beginning. One of my ambitions is to create such a perfect Na'vi like you How long to you needed to become such a good Neytiri-3D-Creator?

 @ La'rityen, i have been messing about with Maya for quite a while, certainly several years. The very basics i learned at school, from there it was mostly experimenting and learning from others and the net. And i still have lots to learn Doesnt take that long to build something nice tho, just have to take it a step at a time and keep enjoying it! Time will fly then anyway, goodluck and PM me if u have a Maya related question. Well her inner mouth (teeth and such) is now also working, thought i might aswell add a working tongue  Say AAaaahhh
