To those who are unaware, Portal 2 will probably not be the end of GLaDOS, Chell, and possibly Wheatley. For in Half-Life 2: Episode 3, we shall be traveling to a research ship built by none other then Aperture Science. And here's something even more interesting, in the schematics for the ship:

See that name down the bottom?
Valve is very smart.

Too bad Valve can't count to three.

BTW is anyone else pissed about how butthurt Microsoft is about crossplatforming with PC/Mac? Sony is willing to do it, but Microsoft isn't, which sucks, because a lot of people I know IRL who have Portal 2 are on the 360, and I've got the PC. They claim it's an unfair advantage issue with keyboards vs controllers, but I say it's a crock of ****. Sony would have said the same thing if that were really the issue. Really, it's just politics. They're too greedy to open their pay-system to one that is free, even at the expense of it's customers.

The ironic thing being that I am running Steam on a Windows machine. Go figure that out...

What's it even about? I've seen the commercial a bunch of times but it doesn't tell me much.

Members of the glorious PC gaming master race do not mingle with the dirty console peasants. (And yes, PC players always will have a huge advantage over console players in FPS's) And Sony will do anything to get games played on their system. ANYTHING.

On a side note, I drew GLaDOS. Not that perfect a picture, as I was drawing off memory, but not horrible. May post it later if I can get the cooperation of this scanner.

A keyboard/mouse has a big advantage over a controller, but that doesn't matter in a cooperative game. Microsoft are just trying to keep their console a closed system there, while even Sony didn't have a problem...

Cross platforming =/= security vulnerability. This is a completely seperate issue.

/me restarts thread.

Spoiler: Relevant picture I found :D

Also, I've got Portal art.

On a side note, what do you think is going to happen with Half Life Ep3? Or perhaps any sequels? I don't think Valve is leaving it there.
Very nice games, nonetheless.

Very nice

Well, Portal certainly seems done now, but hl2 Ep3 will almost certainly continue the story in some way, with the Borealis - Plus, I want a portal gun in hl2
As for Ep3 itself - this is Valve we are talking abut, they are legendarily slow with these things. I would guess that at the moment, the Ep3 source code looks something like this:
Code:
//HL2 EP3
//game goes here, eventually

/*
 *  TODO: Write game
 */
