Default That feeling is back.....sorta.

Ever since I saw the SE at the theater in 3D, I vowed to be able to experience that in my home. Watching the movie in 3D is totally unlike any other experience. It's just that good and I had to be able to experience that again because...well...you know Pandora. LOL

I been saving since that day and the time is finally coming.

So far I've gotten myself a Panasonic 50" Plasma 3D tv (P50ST30). This tv is AMAZING.

I got a cheap pair of active shutter glasses that work great and have been able to play Avatar the Game in 3D mode. It was ranked as one of the best 3D games to play and I can see why. It's incredible. Seriously you actually feel like you are in the game, especially when flying the Ikrans. It only makes me want to experience the movie so much more.

So last week I had enough funds and finally got the last pieces of the puzzle. I ordered a Panasonic 3D blu ray player and the Panasonic 3D kit, which includes two 3D glasses and Avatar the movie. It's due to arrive Friday or Monday and I cannot wait LOL.

The feeling of wanting to be in Pandora is overwhelming, just like it was back when I first saw Avatar. Kinda miss that feeling.

Has anyone been able to see it on their tv in 3D?

That's awesome! Congrats. I'm sure it will be incredible to be able to sit down at home and watch it like that.

Avatar party at your house! lol

Hell yeah! My gf and my best bud are gonna watch it together. I'm gonna have three pairs of glasses so it'll be pretty neat.

I really wish they'd put the film back in theaters here in 3D. I never did get to see Avatar in IMAX...

It would be amazing to watch again in 3D, but I don't think my pockets are that deep, honestly. Not right now, anyway...

Still, massively jealous and I hope that viewing is as amazing as it was first time for you!

That would be great....but unfortunately not for a couple more years. If they did, I'd bet the theaters would be near empty. When the SE was showing, the 1st two or three weeks were pretty crowded then it faded rather fast. I went every week and saw the decline. By the last two weeks, I was the only person in the entire theater lol. Kinda neat having the whole theater but sad at the same time.

^ this. And i don't want to splurge money I don't have on technology that could change significantly between now and mainstream adoption.
