Invisible cities.

While people walk,
To many, they see...
The figures themselves.

But to some of us...
We see something...
Different.

Tens.
Hundreds.
Thousands.

Of invisible cities.

Some... Are choked.
Drowned and mired.
In the towers and the factories.

Blinded by smog,
Stifled by soot,
Coughed out by their world.

And while those,
Who bear the load of,
Skyscrapers...

May mock,
And cackle in their 'luxury'...
With tainted, blackened tone.

They further bow,
By the groaning mass,
The dead weight...

Of metal skeletons,
And concrete skins,
That crush their bodies.

Some... simply live.
Afringe of the chaos...
The madness that the prior birth.

Bound by their basic ways,
By system, order and mode.
Conditioned as machines.

And then...

There are those,
Who live amongst freedom,
Born from themselves.

They live in the trees,
Between logs and leaves.
And seek for others to join them.

These elusive cities do not exist... for,
They are as much a part of them,
As they are of it.

They do not weigh,
They do not crush,
They do not stifle.

They nurture.

Kinda freestyled on this one... I had a basic idea of what I needed to talk about, but no real words to fit the image in my head, so I just rolled with it.

They do not weigh,
They do not crush,
They do not stifle.

They nurture.

'Ways Of Seeing' .. 'All My Relations' ... 'The Divinity Within' .. 'Sacred Places' .. 'I See You' and the 'Tens, Hundreds, Thousands' other ways of seeing beyond the material world only .. past the illusion, past the veil!
