I've started a photo caption contest (for fun) over in the "Forum Games" area. I'll be using photos from the meet-up for a few weeks at least. http://www.tree-of-souls.com/forum_g...ntest_1_a.html

Irayo Mikko, would you mind doing that? I've got some good close ups that my tattoo artist took. I also like the idea of a caption contest. If you want you can use my online name to tag me in photos. Irayo again!

I'm trying to post some pics of my arm in my album but I'm having trouble so it might take me a while.
coooooool! (hell yeah ) and yes, I was talking about somebody's arm
yeah, I find it difficult, too, with posting pics normally I get a white square with a little red cross in it instead of the image but no problem. Practice makes masters I'll check your album later on!

(sigh) if it's of any consolation at all, altho a weak one, you're not alone in this boat...

I (only half jokingly) said before the meetup that I'd try to make a "telepathic tsaheylu" with you "lucky lot". In some mysterious way... it worked. I feel like I lived it, too, altho it must be a pale shadow compared to what you people experienced live & direct. The photos & the videos played an enourmous part in that 8for which I can't thank enough the crew involved8

Every time I click on the video link it's like this big "AGHHHH" you hear in some Avatar Soundtracks, e.g. in "Jake Enters His Avatar World". Like, your heart stops for a second & you hold your breath? Like "It's here!" do you know what I am talking about cos I am not sure?

Two days in a row I wake up teary-eyed & keep saying "I love you people, i just love you, I really do..."

What is this??? an excessive imagination, some neuronal anomaly, or really some strange telepathy makes me feel this way? heck I don't know let some scientist start talking about neurons, hormones & things, but sure as hell I'll try to make it to the next meetup - even if it takes to tame an ikran! or to simply learn teleportation...

I wonder... looking at LearnNavi.org, I get the impression that they have a lot of meetups there. Of course not so much with such a great background at the exhibition, but still. I stumbled over this one for example: EuroAvatar . But of course going to a meetup without having any previous contact to people there would be rather boring and weird - I know only a very few of the people at LN and that only because they are here or at BlueMoon also. But if there would be a massive meetup in Europe of all the sites - LN, AF and all the others, that would be awesome and I certainly would try at least to come...

I barely knew anyone before seattle.those I did was no more than a few posts.

Some of us were completing each others sentences right away, most we didn't even need to speak; a look was enough. "I See you" was frighteningly (and awesomely) real for the first time for me.

We clicked with each other just like we do with Avatar. Despite my attempts to describe it, I can't explain it. And I don't need to.

Sure we said "goodbye" and hugged and said "kėyevame"; but the real goodbyes, that stick with me, where said silently with our eyes.

haha well my advantage is that I know you "impersonally well enough" so that's a good start - and the rest is a matter of "the click" as Mikkowilson very aptly put it. My vacations start August 15 so if there's anything from that date... I'll keep my eyes wide open(are these open wide enough?)

You are so right Mikko. When CyanRachel and I met Ghaziya and Aketuan at Seattle airport for the first time it really did feel like meeting family. Hey, Ghaziya even got me (the stiff ass Brit) to join in the group hug! HAHAHA...not that I took much persuading

Leaving each other was hard and I tried not to think about it as I know it would just get to me. I guess this saddness is the price we pay for our close connection and friendship.

well said...also that "the click" statement is SOO correct.

Anyway...I believe that I talked to most people about putting their username on the picture, if you have an issue with your username being displayed on the picture, tell me ASAP!!

I tried to pick the picture with the most people in it.

I'm planning to try and get one together for Avatar 2, at least. I did think about going to that one, but not only do I not know anyone there, but it is at the same time as Bloodstock, which I am going to.
