hmm, I don't think the cold would bother me much, but I'm sure it might for other people

CyanRachel and misstammie, looking forward to meeting you as well

GAH-- No one lives in the south. If I lived anywhere near any of you, I'd be asking for some mini meetups occasionally. Also, Seattle just made me flat out resent several things about New Orleans (public transit, waste disposal, infrastructure) The only really nice things we've got are the Audubon facilities, being the Zoo, Aquarium, and Insectarium (a rare gem-- I love a good insect zoo). It's a pretty affordable place to live, and I like it for that, but it is damn ghetto.

I loved Saturday of course, being the opening day, but I also really liked Sunday because I think that's the day I talked to the most people Also, I got to see The Volume, which I was never able to see before! Best LOL. Really, I can say a lot for all the days. The first day was fantastic just because I got to meet you all and when many of you liked the picture of my exopack, it's like it was what I had been waiting for ever since I started them in January. I was thinking about quitting, but now, I don't think I will.
Even the last day (which for me was Monday) was great, if only because I got to say a real goodbye to everyone, and it was the kind of goodbye I would give to really good friends or family, and I had only known you all for three days.

Irayo, for making it awesome guys.
Like I said then, I'm already impatiently looking forward to next year!

I wouldn't mind doing Seattle again since a few of us were there for such a short amount of time and didn't get a chance to experience the hiking, aquarium, spending more time at Pikes Market and whatever else we might have missed seeing or doing.

But I am up for anything and I would love to see the Avatar exhibit once again as well.

Reading all of these replies really does make me realize that even though we have only met briefly, we really are a kind of family, but connected not by relation or same geographical region, but by an idea/concept that I really couldn't explain.

I agree, and I think Seattle in July is basically the plan as of right now. I can't wait...

Sounds like a plan to me---only problem is that it's MORE than 365 days away I do plan next year on more than a day or so....

Why are my thoughts suddenly not all about the movie?

Seattle changed everything again.

I can't just pop in a BluRay and return to Seattle like I can Pandora.

Even though it was such a great time, I don't exactly have PSD. I'm anxious to do it again, but since I didn't go up there expecting to meet you guys, I'm just too happy about the way it all turned out now to be depressed.

Seattle was good fun, and interesting meeting everyone. Hopefully some of you will be able to make it up there in July.

Next year will be interesting when everything truly begins unifying in the fan communities.

Kaltxi! Got a little something to share with all my clan. I shot a little video of the woodsprites wall from the exhibit. Got lucky when I caught this little bit of video as that is when the drum circle was performing at the time! As Fiyer said, it fits PERFECTLY! Enjoy.
