I've never done a na'vi costume before, mostly because I am really short and kind of chubby. Also, being a human next to Sarah is always pretty cool, since she is very tall and it just all around looks really good However, after I finish exopack 3, I will consider doing an avatar version so that I can wear clothes, and now that Sarah's mastered it, I have learned from her experiences.

We've both learned. Except when you start painting, Moco Loco, you'll have lots of knowledge of what not to do. Like try and put in contacts after painting, or using that brand of temporary hair dye.

To Human No More, I'd like to suggest using synthetic hair for the queue, specifically toyokalon, it's very cheap, but not the cheapest out there so it good quality of the money. I've used Kanekalon for the queues before and it mats and frays really quickly. I buy my long hair weaves at Sally's beauty supply, but I know you live outside the US so I found this website that sells really long toyokalon weaves on clearance right now: toyokalon I can't vouch for the quality of the products in the website, but I thought it might be something worth sharing.

I don't actually know what my wig is made out of; I attached the queue separately. I paid sort of a lot for my wig, it's a good quality, whatever it is.

hmm, thanks for the idea. I don't have much in the way of time, money or motivation to do much for a costume now as I don't have anywhere to go anyway, but I'll certainly take a look when I know when I'm doing it next.
