100 years is too long to wait, and to be honest, I don't expect anything (good) to come of this in the end, just look who's running the program.

I'd either expect they'll steal the ideas to build some even more unneeded and overpowered weapons or just drop it completely in about, oh, 5 years.

Unseen Field Drive... sounds like something you'd be able buy on ebay for about $99.95.
