I think seeing it with someone would have been a REALLY hard decision... most people, I probably wouldn't have, unless I thought it would affect them the same way it did for us, and I do not want anything to distract me from Avatar - as it happens, I never got the chance to have to make that decision anyway.

I'm kinda with you there HNM - in both senses! All the times I have watched it at the flicks (kinda lost count) was on my own apart from when some friends 'wanted' to come along to see what all the fuss was about. My mum also came too and almost got vertigo (it was in IMAX 3D - hehehe). The only other time was with the mini-meet-up that HNM mentioned. There was six of us (four of us from the UK, one from Thailand (although living in the UK at the time) and one guy who flew over from the US to join us!) That was a great night just watching it all together.
Ooo, I've just remembered another time I watched it with a friend. They were still showing Avatar SE at the IMAX in February this year!!! Yeah really. So Solarwind, who joined us at the mini-meet, and I went to watch it again. That was the last time I saw it in a cinema...unless you count the mini cinema we set up in the hotel, in which case there were about 18 of us Avatar fans watching it all together - OUTSTANDING!
