Friend: did you see Avatar again?
Me: no, I experienced it again.

This movie is so incredible, so heart warming, so mind blowing to be just a movie. Well said

Pretty much. You don't "watch" Avatar, you experience and immerse yourself in the wonderful world that is Pandora, the majestic Na'vi, the beautiful, heart wrenching, tear inducing story and all the beautiful characters.

^^ agreed... the first time I saw the movie, it was too much for one showing. I stayed up all night, I couldn't sleep because of the movie... I couldn't digest it all.

I couldn't agree more myself....

My life was so analytical and... if I may say so, evil before I saw this movie. Plus, confidence was at an all-time medium, which was hard to back up. If I never heard Zoe's words or Neytiri's mesmerizing beauty, I would still be in deep in my thought hole.

agreed ^^^ I couldnt take it all in at once aswell I couldn't sleep for days my mind was awash with Avatar, it was all too overwhelming for me I couldn't fathom Neytiri's beauty the deeper meaning to this 'movie' (id rather refer to it as a life changing experience or heightning of my perception or even an enlightenment) so i just had to see it again, and again, and again

So true. There's just way too much information for a human brain to process in 2 hours 40 minutes.

Don't let the fact that people don't understand how this life changing event has changed you ma tsmukan. They are still lost in the dark and cannot see, therefore they scoff at what they understand. But their words should be nothing but a breeze to us, because we have all recieved an amazing gift from this movie. We have all been affected emotionally, have changed for the better, and recieved so many new friends, (I'll even go as far as to say FAMILY!) so let them say what they will. I have become a different and better person from it, and wouldn't take that away for anything in the world. Oel ngati kameie

Unfortunately this is the case. The majority of people today are so mainstream it's a joke.

True spoken words my friend. We have all made new friends here and Avatar has changed all of us for the better. We have become better as a person and will carry this experience and the wonderful memories Avatar has given us forever.

Oel ngati kameie, ma tsmukan.

It may seem like a few, but just looking at the box office numbers.. I think surprisingly many "experienced" it (including me in the "surprised of" list).

Yes, but how many of those people actually truly understood the movie?

The majority of those who saw it probably thought, "Oh that was a cool movie", and left it at that. They most likely didn't experience the magical movie that is Avatar.

I'm not so sure... A lot of people saw it, thought 'hmm, nice film', then never thought about it again
