Default Length of deleted scenes

How long are the deleted scenes? Even though there would be different cuts of the film, with one that includes 8 minutes of additional footage and another one that includes 35 minutes of additional footage, does that mean that all the deleted scenes add up to 35 minutes?

Pretty sure it's 6 minutes of fully rendered and finished footage and another 35-40 minutes of partially completed footage.

From what I've read, JC is asking Weta to finish rendering the unfinished scenes for the November release.

Hmm, as far as I know they were only rendering about 6 minutes, and the rest would be partially finished material.

But, that would be awesome if they are going to finish rendering the entire 35-40 minutes of extra footage! I really hope they do.

Well, I think it's a given that if they do a theatrical release of the extended cut, anything in that will be completely finished up to Avatar standard. Stuff that is going only on the extended blu-ray is another matter.

I hope they do fully render all the deleted scenes, I know that the scene with Tsu'Tey and Jake was fully rendered and cut at the last minute, but it would be great to get the full experience of the others.

The sex scene is another that will definitely be.

As for the rest, I hope so too... Maybe that's a reason for the special edition DVD being released in November... At least, I hope so

Well, they are certainly missing a lot of character development that was in the script. The Tsu'tey vs Jake challenge should be in there, and I really hope that Sylwanin would get mentioned.
