![]() The red pill allows you to shape-shift, but only into things as small as a rat or as big as an elephant. You can change your race, body shape, even your gender. Any permanent marks you've had on your body, like tattoos will vanish. Serious injuries stay, however. The changes will simply be physical, this means when you transform into a younger version of yourself or someone else, Your body looks and is younger, but you will still die of age as if you have never transformed in the first place. Your brain is not affected, this means you cannot be smarter by transforming into a genius, but it also means that if you transform into a bird you will not have the intelligence of a bird, you will always have your normal human intelligence, in short, your intelligence cannot increase or decrease due to transformation. You can heal minor to significant injuries to some extent with transformation; the more serious ones cannot be healed with transformation. The blue pill allows you to be completely self-sustainable. You no longer need to eat, sleep or even breathe. As well, your aging process has ground to a standstill. Your rate of healing is also heavily increased. As long as nobody drops a piano on you, you are effectively immortal. As a side effect, you no longer take pleasure from eating, sleeping, or breathing. The blue pill also negates the effects of traditional surgery, because as soon as they make an incision it heals up, it also removes things such as shrapnel or implants from your body. Taking either pill would be a life changing miracle, however, you can only pick one. Mixing both pills in your system would result in a poison that would kill you instantly. Choose wisely. The Blue pill's healing is not strong enough for you to survive the poison of both pills. Personally I would take the blue pill, I long for immortality. I would live, away from the busy world, observing the world and history that would otherwise be long forgotten. Then after a few thousand years and I've had enough, or humanity is going to become extinct, off myself.

Red pill. Seriously, I'd rather be whatever I want instead of looking how everything I love fades away and dies with time.

If I had to make a choice it would be the red pill. I'd rather change part of my appearance instead of trying to live forever because it would be to painful to see so many who I love so dearly die in front of me.

Red.
Nothing lasts forever, even just because other people don't, so I wouldn't want to.

I would take the red pill, too. I have no desire to be immortal, in any sense. Life lasts long enough, I think.
And I honestly would really love to be a shape shifter. You've hit on one of my longest held fantasies, there.

I only want to be immortal if every is immortal. Can you imagine living through the death of every one of your friends and family and then your next batch of friends and family and then your next batch of friends and family. Life would slowly become cold and meaningless. I used to think I wanted to be immortal, but then I read a fanfic called the Summens (part 4 of 4 in a series). It is one of the most depressingly sad things ever.
Same here, I love the idea of just walking down the street changing from person to person (to Na'vi) and ignoring the stunned reactions. Of course I enjoy the idea a lot more than that, but that is something I always thought would be cool.

Both are tempting, but I think I would choose the blue pill. I'm really interested in seeing where the human race is going. Right now is kinda a sucky time to be alive because it's a transitional era. The next hundred or so years will likely determine if we are going to destroy ourselves, or if we can mature beyond this technological adolescence and become an advanced, space-fairing species.
Plus, I could still shapeshift if they find a way to transfer minds without actually penetrating the body (like an Avatar link ). Loopholes FTW...

God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy **** we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. I choose ecstasy
No I'm kidding, I've never taken XTC, I would honestly take the red pill... I wouldn't be able to stand immorality, and as a shapeshifter I'd be a Na'vi forever

Blue pill as getting old sucks in many ways. I've already had loved ones pass on and while it's no picnic you do (eventually) go on.

I've come to realize (having my best friend pass on) that death is so very natural, and that while it does create an immense sense of loss, I feel more wonder about death than fear. I mean, what do we REALLY know about it, simply that no one comes back...
