From Behind the Mask

I don't want
to be seen
only partially
or fragments
I want
to be seen
by those
whom know me
and most particulairly
by one
whom claims
to 'love' me
to be 'seen'
mostly wholy
The ying and the yang
the light and the dark
the shadows and the brilliance
the scathing and the scars
the defender and the victim
the protector and the challenger
the poet and the artistic visionary
the wounded singer and the sage
the Priestess and the Hierophant
the roamer and the wild
the scientific and the spiritualist
the endless questing seeker
for the contented moment
the one whom will not settle
for medioricity
but the extra-ordinary
where 'life is not measured
by the breaths we take,
but the moments that take
our breath away'
Overjoyed with awe and swept away
by the sheer magnificance of it all

the composite of all my aspects
no matter the highs or lows
the body and the intellect
the heart and the soul
I'm not interested
in love defined by polarities
Its synchronicties
the merging of two that matters
the mirror whom can
when needed most
echo the depths
of the mo'at of my soul
so that facing
the fear of separtness
I can know
I AM NOT
Alone.

I will not settle
for the lesser
the mirror of my mask
and end up only with
emptyness and lonliness

But taking responsibility
there is none to blame
but myself
For to achieve this
I need to risk
vulnerability
and reveal my true self
from behind it.
