Default Background Image Size.

Alright, here for 15 minutes and already going to buzz around with bugs.

Nah.

Just one thing I have to say, I run a HD screen, which has 1920x1080 res. and the background doesn't fit/fill the screen.

It doesn't have to be fixed, per say, just thought I'd mention it.

It would be great if you took a screenshot of how it looks like

Not really the biggest image, but it shows what I see. :3

Yeah, I got the same problem, but it doesn't bother me that much.

Anyway, I preferred the black background personally. Even back on AF.

It doesn't bother me that much either, just thought I'd mention because it could bother some people.

I made the background fixed now so it stays in place when you scroll. Eltu centered it a bit better... Altho, yeah, there still is a bit too much space between edges...

I have the same problem, not a huge deal but it would be nice if it fit the screen. Maybe a "stretch" option or something.

Same here with 1080p, but then again I've disabled all images with adblock since they are too distracting in their current state.

I have very small black bars (1680x1050). It should be possible to have different backgrounds depending on the user's screen size. I know most browsers can be induced to give up that information, but I have no idea what kind of programming (if any) and resources such a modification would require. I just know it's theoretically possible.

I'm at 1600x1200 which is the maximum width of the image, but I know it causes problems on wider monitors, maybe we could look into making the image wider. I'm not sure if the centre bit contained any image or not, but if it did, we could split it in the centre to use half the actual image on both sides, which should make it wider. Need to check though as I didn't make the background, I think it was Eltu who did.

I'm using 1080p as well, but I actually like the way it looks. It kind of just fades to blackness on either side.
