Okay, here is the poll for the camping trip adjoining the 2012 meetup.
Please choose two; one for attending, and one for which camping setup you prefer. If you have questions or suggestions, please post them here: http://www.tree-of-souls.com/seattle...awaits_us.html If you wish to tell us why you voted the way you did, though, post that here instead.

100% I'll be there.
![]() I prefer group campsite, but if we get more than 30 people going, then individual. |

Kaltxi Raiden,
I've put 'yes' down to attend the camping trip. However, it will all depend on whether I need to help out set up/take down stuff prior to/after the Meet Up in Seattle. But it sure would be cool to come along. Irayo for starting this and the other thread. Top man! Is it going to rival your Seattle meet up thread from last year then? Hehehe ![]() Alan |

I'll go either way on the camping. I'll be there.

all my "yes" depend on if I make it to Seattle at all! keeping all the 4-s crossed...

I put yes but nothing for either group or individual because it really doesn't make so so much difference to me. However, as an afterthought, I like the idea of individual since actually I've never camped like that.

Okay, I finally voted "yes;" I wasn't able to decide which camping arrangement to pick. If I absolutely had to pick one, it would be the individual sites with closer trail access, BUT, I am flexible.

Is it individual or group if we just find a big damn tree and all bring a hammock?

Something else I thought I should add is that individual doesn't really mean one person per spot; it usually means one tent per spot.
There are tents large enough to adequately house 4-6 people, and if enough people brought tents like that, then we could do this in small groups.

Oh wow that sounds like great fun!
However I can't commit to anything more than the meet up right now. It all depends on what kind of work I find in California, how much time I can get off, how much money I can save, and whether or not I will have to take summer classes (God forbid...). Is there an absolute final point of no return deadline that we have to have reservations in by? -Txonä Rolyu

Well, I'm not going to be able to bring a tent, myself.
I haven't camped in a group style like this, so I'd like that

I'd be down for camping either way, tbh
Might be a good idea to make a thread about what gear people will be bringing. Those of us who have large tents and spare sleeping bags might be able to help out those who don't have any or can't bring them due to travel constraints.

Raiden, this is an amazing amount of planning that you have done so far .... Irayo!
I'm not 100% sure about the camping .... but; if everything works out that I will be able to include it , I prefer the lodge accommodations (yes, I'm a wus) and hiking.

I would love do this but it will depend on my time frame and of course flying with all the gear will be very challenging to say the least. I will have more an idea perhaps a few months prior to the meet up.

I think that this would be really fun as well, but I'm with Miss Tammie at the moment. I just don't know how much time I'll be able to get off and how much stuff I'll be able to bring with me. If I had to choose now, I'd probably go for the lodge group.
