I suppose there would be an awareness of what is happening to your body during the experience..Or at least that's what I gather..

they are very similar actually you see images & experience sensations (emotional, physical...) &, if you're in the session, you answer the therapist's questions all the while, so it's like you're narrating your dream while dreaming it. "Where are you?" - "Hm... on the beach..." - "Is it day or night?" - "Not sure... it's a bit dark... either dusk or dawn... I guess it's dusk cos it's getting darker... mmm nice breeze!" It's very funny how people have physical sensations, too - altho one can have them in a dream, that's not unusual really.

A more interesting difference is the result: after a PLT (past life therapy) session there are (usually) some very visible results: e.g. some phobia, or a complex, or even a physical disorder (psoriasis, in the case of the 2nd article) disappears, or is greatly diminished. I am my own guinea pig in this case you can shop the lot out of me.

Was it imagination? A real memory? A wild mixture of some memories stored in the subconsicousness (books, movies, interests, overheard conversations etc.) that created the "story"? Who really knows? Imho, the result is worth it

Well, the result is all that matters, and I'm glad it worked out for you Sounds interesting, like something I'd want to try if only to experience it.

"try it - you might as well like it" Only like in any other matter, I strongly suggest to find a professional. You might want to google for "regression therapy" or "past life (lives?) therapy" for the professionals in your area - it would be good to check references & the feedback if available. I got mine recommended by the author of 'Terapia de las Vidas Pasadas' (P.L.T. in Spanish), he is rather well-known but it turned out he was in Argentina - a bit too far! So he recommended me a person in Barcelona they went to the same course together it has worked until now...

How does the saying go? "Trust - but verify" (appparently, this is what Thatcher said to Gorbachev... )

^^^^

Edited for the sake of justice: she didn't say "trust me", she said "trust - but verify" (Gorby liked the phrase & was quoting it quite a lot since then - haha even I liked it!)

But you did make me laugh with your Thanator metaphor!

I'd be more inclined to try it if it didn't cost a whole lot.

Yeah, it is usually expensive. But who knows? I got my first one for free - but I organized the whole workshop precisely for that purpose I wanted a regression, couldn't pay, & got people from all over Spain to come to a seminar. There were two regressions as "samples" during the workshop. Sure enough I got my "sweetie".

Oh, and Pa'li... I happened to be a Maya! that's just one more reason I am SO impressed by your new signature...

Erm, back to the subject... Moco Loco, some people even do it for free - as "service to humanity" or for this sort of consideration. But they may happen to be "tsahik apprentices" - then their professionalism is questionable... Ah, anyway - "those who seek shalt find". Some opportunity we cannot think of right now might present itself, & you'll take it from there. In any case, it is... interesting, to say the least!

If I ever come across it, I'll think about it. Actually, money wouldn't be a huge issue anymore since I just got a job selling knives

whoah! why am I thinking about the Maya again? do you have to make any demonstrations?
Hey, if you have an interesting experience during your PLT tour, you're welcome to post it!

and, sorry to be a nuissance: I am still going on the expertise. Because, imagine that during the PLT safari you unexpectedly bump into a painful, traumatic situation? Then the therapist must know how to deal with it & how to heal it. "Trust me - I've learnt the hard way"

Anyway, since, you're saying, it is looking brighter on the money side now... hope you'll get the best out of it, if you decide to do it!
