I'm currently dabbling in the world of map and weapon set building in the world of 1998 game Marathon, a game I was addicted to throughout my kid years, and one of a fantastic story. Still the best I have ever found on any game.
So I was wondering, has anyone else tried their hand at 'proper' modding? (By that, I don't mean just "Nu Skinzzz 4 Blak opzlol" but proper mapping or creation from scratch)

My brother has, but he isn't the most helpful person.

I used to mod a few games in the Command & Conquer series, I mostly did mapping for Tiberian Sun though.

All I've done is map editors, and a little bit of scripting in fallout 3 to see how it worked.

I dabbled a little bit in CoD4:MW, editing guns, menu's and such but about the time I started to get it figured out W@W came out.
