Do you feel that way about Avatar, too? It "runs out of content"?
For me, a game is a story, an experience - just like Avatar. It's not about the amount of content, it's about how much the content affects me. And I can gladly re-experience good single-player games over, and over.
LOVEAvatar: I'm not saying an Avatar MMO would be a bad game, and some may definitely be able to enjoy it - but it's nothing I'd be interested in, personally. To use a metaphor, it'd be like watching Avatar in the cinema with people around you constantly talking to each other and loudly commenting what's happening in the movie. Would totally ruin the experience.
I like experiencing a game all by myself. I like being able to immerse myself into a storyline without anyone else interrupting. I like being able to control the game (pause at any time, save at any time, etc.) - besides a great storyline and experience, all those things is what I look for in a game.
Thus, while an Avatar MMO may very well be a good game, I'd never want to play it.
