I did this before School came in. I'm piled onto loads of paper, homework, and headaches coming from confusing teachers who don't mean when they say you should study 'this' or 'that'. Most likely drawings in 2-4(6 maybe) hours. Soon enough though, maybe in a year or so, I'll be able to make drawings like these in quarter of that time.

I know when I was done with this, my mind knew nothing but relief, than amazement. However since I shared this with you fine gentlemen for such a long time, I can't help but feel like I see some rust on this artwork, like I'm stretching it out and telling any stranger who walks in front of me about this art piece (I can't think of a better way to put it). I don't intend on being an attention pos'e and I don't intend on being a jerk (I am naturally one, unfortunately) in the process of presenting my art. I know how it is to be a developing artist, hell, everyone is still an developing artist. The feeling never leaves us, that feeling of 'I can do better than this..| Why can't I draw a head!| Why are the breasts nonparallel?!| Why are his gluts... quirky?| etc.' is always a constant thought. But seeing results from my artwork, I just seem to 'draw' and not care what comes out of it anymore. If I harbored a mindset like that in the first place, I would of been this experienced a few years ago (so a tip to all those developing artists: Never beat yourself up, it isn't worth it)!

My future artwork won't be as 'spectacular' as this one, maybe one might come up in a very rare occasion, during a time in the year where time isn't an issue. This is my true masterpiece. But I love doing drawings like I did of Tali in my other post so you might see some of those in the future.

I feel the need to address this so everyone can learn from my mistake:

~Draw copies as studies, but don't depend on them

I have done copy works of images, scenes of life, and of stills from cutscenes in games for a very long time, counting on 3-5 years now. But I'm still having a massive amount of trouble drawing a head from memory, pairs of eyes, making a convincing mouth and chin, and other similar drawing features you would find on a portrait (I blame my mental disability). If you practice doing head studies and learning from anatomy, I'm confident that you will have no trouble in drawing the human body from intuition. Practice practice practice, no word can emphasize just how important it is to practice, but if you expect to be God's architect with a pencil on day one, forget it!

That's not a bad idea. With a copy of an image. I could make her... mmm sounds inviting. I'm seriously thinking about it now.
