I'm sooooooooooo excited, oh my gosh.
But I am afraid of one thing: The trailers for the movie. I'm afraid they're going to give away the whole plot like the trailers for 'Avatar' did. That would seriously suck. I don't want any of you guys or me to watch the trailer, see the whole plot, and realize that's it. It gave away everything. :/

I generally watch most trailers of movies I have even a passing interest of seeing eventually on DVD or on cable. But I went into the theater in early 2010 to see Avatar for the first time knowing...... really nothing about it. Didn't see the trailers and completely missed the bullet train of hype everyone says Avatar had surrounding it. I'd like to think that worked out really well for me.

I'm going to try to do that again, although even without seeing trailers, I will be walking into the theater next time with the irrational fear of sequels of movies I liked that the Matrix Reloaded instilled in me.

I rarely watch trailers in general unless I end up seeing them incidentally; normally at the cinema.

Trailers are a lot easier to avoid if you don't watch tv much.
The first Avatar trailer revealed a bit when it was first screened.

Time to avoid the cinema for two years. Not like I would go anyway; I'm quite poor.

You can watch the trailers "visually" but cut off the sound and you don't have much of an idea what's going to happen. Being deaf, i don't hear what the person is saying or any of the talking in the trailers so I don't know what's happening except what I see. I had ZERO idea what Avatar was about when it first came out except for the action scenes shown and missed the hype train too. I actually thought the blue people invaded earth and we went to war with them, us being the good guys LOL. Then I was in for a complete surprise when I bought the dvd with captioning.

So if you find yourself in front of a screen showing a trailer of Avatar, plug your ears with your fingers and you'll be ok until it's released.

I also doubt that JC will release too much in the trailer anyways. I think keeping everyone in suspense with a simple non-spoiling trailer is the best way to get people to the theaters and see WTF is going on.

That must have been a weird surprise. I knew a little, but I expected more of it to be a small group of humans as the antagonists with more of a majority against them.
