Very true. Although I suppose if you play through the game by just completing the main objective you may not notice it as much..The helicopters all seem to pop up in large amounts around Swotulu..

I seem to be having trouble finding it. If anyone wants to help me out, PM.

Moco: Where'd you end up buying it? Curious for the cheapest option?

From what I've seen, the cheapest would be Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Avatar-Pc/dp/B...9532114&sr=8-1

$10 for the game, or $16 for the download.

It shouldn't take too long.

Well, being me, I like to complete everything 100% and then spend some time looking around for new spots to climb or whatever. So i'm usually on a map for about 2 hours or so, sometimes more when I'm waiting for night mode. Gonna be a while before I land on that map.

^ I do exactly the same thing! It's great to see that you use night mode now.

Yeah, I noticed the same.

There are also a few secret areas through the game that objectives never take you to - in Swotulu, there is a camp with avatars. Kaoli Tei has loads of those, including an RDA helicopter landing site.

Yeah that camp of Avatars was strange. I noticed them on the 2nd playthrough and was shocked when they started shooting at me. Do you mean there are more camps like this in Kaoli Tei?

There aren't any more avatars after the ones in Swotulu. Although in Kaoli Tei there are link shacks.

There aren't any Avatars, there, there's a small base with Samsons though. It's just interesting how they have all those extra places that aren't used.

...and yeah, the avatars attack you, bad game design
