Well, with people posting love poetry around, I might as well put some more of my own up.
![]() All the animals upon the Earth Probably look on with casual mirth On this thing we have called love As light and beautiful as a dove I have never tasted such And I'm sure you haven't had much But eventually, on one fateful day We ourselves will jump into the fray The fray of life, our own little mission Where we might find peaceful submission To our love, in this life or another We'll know when, the day we find each other I still don't recognize your face But I'll look forward to our little race When we take that last, long dive To, with our union, finally thrive However, my sweet, time always moves slowly No matter how much life becomes lowly But be patient, for when we share our lives Our memories will be sharper then a thousand knives. I'll be waiting.

![]() Is it because you sell knives?

Maybe
Or maybe because knives make me think of danger and everything before that in the poem seemed very peaceful.
