So I went a bit over the top with the screencapping but hey it's afternoon and then night in Torukä Naring.

(Love the lighting effects)

EPIC...nuff said. The Thanator is stunning when it's glowing. I played that special hidden map during night mode once and was in awe how cool the thanator looked. Never was able to see Toruk like that. So neat! Plus the fish.....never knew they were there. Now I got more stuff to check out.

Kinda wish there was a way to turn off the radar. I think it would be cool to do the maps without it since you have to rely on your knowledge of the area in order to get around. Just like Jake feels when he's alone walking aimlessly in the big awesome forest and has no clue where to go.

Thanks!! That special map is great especially since your health never goes down and you can get as much XP as you want. Toruk looks so cool at night, can't wait till Ta'antasi at night.

I agree with you on getting rid of the radar. Also I think it would be great if you could zoom up without having to use a bow/gun and scanner.

I don't think I've found that area :o

Edit: Found some info... really hard to find any though - seems like it's apparently unlocked when completing the game, but wasn't for me

Also, again, amazing how much detail there is in the night scenes that most people will never see... toruk looks kind of weird though

Those are some seriously cool screenshots, it never occurred to me to wonder what thanators and Toruk would look like at night.

Too bad my rig probably can't run the game.

I've read a few things on Echo Chasm. First was that you have to beat the game as navi or rda. Then I read that you had to beat it on both navi and rda campaigns to get it. Last I heard you had to beat the game with 100% achievements. I'm not really positive which is true though. I'm gonna have to see what happens when I beat it with just the Navi side. The map ain't anything special, but it is a bit fun and good place to rack up experience points for the mini game.

What's the specs of your system? It's available for 360 and PS3 too, FYI.

Toruk looks weird? Really? I think the orange looks interesting. Maybe they could of done Toruk's front a bit better but it's still amazing.

No problem, glad you like Toruk and the Palulukan. Each level looks amazing at night although I think it Kxanìa Taw would look pretty dark because most of it is dirt. >.< Although the sky and stone arches would look great!! It's worth it exploring every level at night. It brings a new depth in your gameplay so everything looks brand new and you'd want to explore everywhere. Unfortunately the night only lasts for 30 mins and then it switches to morning. I know a trick with Swotulu though. You travel to the bioluminescent cavern where the Talioang are and then you use the tree of vision to travel back to any part of the map. When you appear on another part of the map it will be nighttime.

Well, I won't go into all the nitty-gritty details (unless you want me to) but according to Can You Run It? it falls just underneath the minimum requirements, as I figured. A lot of it has to do with the old and subpar video card.

And I don't have a PS3 or 360 (way behind the times, I know) so I don't see myself playing this in the near future. :\

Nice pics! I like how you show the contrast between the different colours. It would be brilliant if you could get some pics that show the ground and all of the willow trees in the background.

Here's an example.

I've beaten the game as Na'vi with 100% on every map multiple times. If I need to play against them too, then it seems I'll never unlock it and it will just have to be that way
