Ahhh sweet cherry blossoms. I used to have one in my backyard before we moved.
That's a nice pic Empty Glass. They look nice as a bright pink colour too.

Hmm, haven't had a look in this thread for a while... cherry blossoms! Lovely to look at, and also nice to walk on, when the petals cover the ground...

(OK, this should rather go into the Going Barefoot thread... but since true Pandorans are barefoot, too, it's on topic! So there!)

Here's some nice blossoms on a tree, too:

And if it didn't take place in an urban setting (shot from my office in the morning), this sunrise could be a Pandoran one, too:

Absolutely stunning ma tsmukan! Cherry Blossoms are so soft and smell so delicately sweet.

Here's some pics of countryside in France.

Near Toulouse.

Not sure where in France this is but it looks amazing.

The Alps, maybe? Those mountains always amaze me the way they go straight up from the valley floors.

Mmm maybe it's near the border of France and Spain.

I've heard there's monasteries and shrines on top of those alps.

Okay I looked up "Pyrenees" on Google Images, and ended up finding this (sorry it's not higher-res):

I need to go there someday. I love mountains.

The cliffs in the background kind of reminded me of Lake Louise in Alberta when I first saw it:

On my brief hike through part of the Austrian Alps last year, I came across several peaks with huge crosses erected on top of them. Didn't see any monasteries on the peaks (those must be amazing) but I did encounter a few hikers' lodges where you can stay a night before hiking on. If I can try that sort of trek someday I will.

@EmptyGlass

Wow, those pics look awesome. I completely agree, I love the mountains a lot.

Austrian Alps? Sounds awesome!

A few days ago I uploaded a quick 180 degree from ontop Stones Peak (12,922 ft) in RMNP from this last August.

(some of you might recognize other peaks from my pics/vids from the past)

The Pyrenees is on the border of France and Spain. Probable borders some other countries as well. My old history teacher hiked up there and he told us about the monastaries.

I really, really like those pics especially with that big lake.

I'm pretty sure somewhere in the old posts of this thread I have a few pics uploaded from that hike (EDIT: whoops, I mean the other Pandora on Earth thread)...might have to re-upload them later. I just wish I had gotten more time to spend with them!

Haha yeah, I think I do recognize some places from one of your other vids. Looks like a nice day.

Good, I'm glad. That particular lake has some of the most astoundingly blue water of any lake I've ever seen. The Canadian Rockies (the parts I've been fortunate enough to see anyway) are amazing.
