About 95% straight to 5% bi-curious, but I voted straight as i'm not curious enough to vote the other way.

You know what I like to tell people that make fun of gays? I always say "You can never be anything other than bisexual, because you might like women now, but you never know when you might change. So until you're on your death bed, don't go making fun of something you might become."
Gets em sometimes edit: oh and I answered straight... well because that's what I'm attracted to I guess

I don't get it though. When I look around, it seems like I'm already there, and there is nothing left to do. "You think you're so clever and classless and free, but you're still ****ing peasants as far as I can see." I wish I could take just one hour of what I experience out in nature, wrap it in a box, put a bow on it, and start handing out to people Nature has its own religion; gospel from the land I know I was born and I know that I'll die; The in between is mine." @Theorist: That's actually really good; I might use that sometime.

Seems redundant to be, because it changes the definition. The widely-accepted definition of bisexual is someone who is actively attracted to both. Saying someone is just because they may be at some undetermined future point is like saying everyone is tall because they might become tall at some point.

I agree, but that doesn't mean it can't be effective in combatting gay-bashing straight people.

Not really - it avoids the real issue. It's a bit like implying that anyone who dislikes gay people is secretly gay - some very well might be and indeed, have in a few cases turned out to be, but it isn't true for everyone, and some people have other problems that can cause such opinions, while implying things about them really just pushes real problems (and therefore their solutions) under the carpet.

About five years ago, I had a really gay year. My mom flipped
She always seemed okay with gays until she knew that I might be one.

Straight.
I don't agree with the choice of life that LGBT people choose, but I think they shouldn't be deprived of the right to make their decision. I have nothing against LGBT people, but I admit that they are easy to make fun of. Of course, I don't have any mean or hurtful intentions when I joke around.

As long as the jokes aren't hurtful, I think we're pretty good sports.
And we don't choose to be LGBT; it's something we just are. We don't get to choose. |

It was a joke, as in I was implying that some people here possibly aren't good sports when it comes to joking around.
