Well it is rare occasions I admit
- I was lucky this time. What helps me is the possibility to sleep without having to get up instantly - that enables me to go through the dream in all details after I woke up - maybe write it down really fast. Also helps - the strong intention to remember. But re the comic - I think in the first panel - the strategy I try to use is to at this point not get up and walk to the bathroom and then to breakfast but instead stay in bed, think and remember again and again what was in the dream until one is fully awake - then skip bathroom and toothbrush and go directly to the leptop and start writing it down - and then go for the bathroom and all the other morning stuff - Obviously this cannot be done daily, so indeed most mornings are more like the one in your comic... :s

Only when we loose ourselves in the stories they have the power to control us. Our culture got lost in the wrong story, a story of death and defeat, of opression and control, of separation and competition. We need a new story!" |
