I on the other hand have watched as many episodes of this show as I could. I missed some because of pre-emption and I think I just forgot to record one, but I think I've seen the majority of them and...... I don't like this show either.

I really wanted to, but I don't.

I just watched all the episodes except this recent one. I'm using Hulu because it's the only site that has closed captioning. But anyways, last week's episode just started now and man, I wish they used some of that expensive budget on the special effects. The fish scene was so "80's" in graphics. Just......not interesting to the modern eye.

the most recent episode was actually the best yet. BEfore it, this series was so-so, but this most recent one actually opened things up a lot

The dinosaurs and locations in Terra Nova are pretty nice to look at though I always seem to find the the Sixers, in particular Mira are really intriguing.

The other people I think make Terra Nova interesting are Nathan Taylor, Jim, Elizabeth, Zoe and Maddy Shannon.

In the most recent episode, when Mira and Taylor were fighting the two lashers, I was kinda hoping Mira would shoot Taylor with an arrow, and he would just look at her and say something like "You should know by now that it takes two of those to kill me." Then he would just walk up and knock her out or something.

I missed one of the latest episodes here, the one where Jim discovers Taylor's secret. O.O I have to catch up.

I think it's quite a contrast. In "our" movie Stephen Lang is a hard nosed military commander hell bent on destruction of the "new world." In Terra Nova he is also playing an almost as hard nosed commander, except in this case he is the one trying to "save" the "new world."

While I watch it, it is kind of disappointing. The plots are overly simplistic and easy to see through. Not too many unexpected twists.

I hope that it gets a season two, but I'm not holding my breath.

Or is he?

Really right now I am only watching this for Quaritch. The rest of the cast is boring and quite frankly pretty stupid. I think the entire teenage cast needs to be eaten.

What I really want them to expand on is Taylor's adventures. The man survives something like thirty days on his own ALONE in the jungle. Now that I would watch!

Couldn't agree more, with the exception that I've given up on the show. My apologies to Stephen Lang, but every other character there sucks. Hopefully he can move onto something that won't completely squander it's potential the way Terrible Nova has.

That show up so rarely, are so poorly animated, and violate so many established facts about Dinosuars they really shouldn't be mentioned....

Plus the also do that Primeval thing where creatures don't react to bullets because they're just CGI and there's nothing really there.

I'm sorry to say this, but I actually preferred the huge forests in the movie "The Rundown". Or the nature preserves within driving distance. And I'm very spoiled from watching Planet Earth as many times as I have regarding forests. Terra Nova just didn't do it with regards to getting my nature fix.

You're so lucky to have such nature reserves within close reach Crickett. Most of the Rainforests in Australia are in the top half of the country. Terra Nova was filmed in South East Queensland, Australia.
