anyway the point is that the soundtrack was composed by James Horner in 1988, 21 years before Avatar. I couldn't believe it when I found that out. The same person had composed my favorite movie as a kid and as an adult. I almost feel like there was some connection there, like I was partially drawn to Avatar from his style of music...dunno. Fun to think about I guess.
I was talking on IRC with many of you and it seems like a lot of you watched and loved the movie way back when as well...

Yeah, chalk me up as another person who liked Land Before Time as a kid. And by that, I mean
THE FIRST ONE, not one of the nearly dozen cash ins that were made afterward.
I wonder if there is some kind of causational relationship between them.
