Totally depends on what you like.
But some classics are:

5 Centimeters Per Second
Angel Beats!
Whisper of the Heart
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Summer Wars
Bakemonogatari
Beck - Mongolian Chop Squad
FLCL
Paprika

Those are just some random ones that people seem to like a lot. But if you tell me what genres you like I'd be happy to give you some reccomendations

Yeah I know, but watch the anime ones.

Found some more charts. I personally love the very artsy and obscure anime. And I find these charts to be very helpful when I don't know what to watch next.

Nice charts, I'm sure they'll help
Since I haven't seen a bunch of anime (maybe only familiar with about seven tops), I can't say for sure, but genres I like anyway are scifi, horror, or if the story isn't extremely fantastical, food, travelling, gender switching

You'd probably like Claymore, Mononoke, or Texhnolyze.
Maybe Elfen Lied and Voices of a Distant Star.

For the gender switch I'd recommend Kampfer, Sora no Otoshimono (there's only a bit).

I'm more of a Slice of Life/Romance/Comedy fan so I don't watch too much of the sci-fi stuff but check some of that stuff out.

I was gonna add it to my backlog of anime to watch then I realized it's 25 episodes and I do NOT have time for that.

Did you cry?

First time I saw it I thought it was lame.
Second time, I cried like a bitch.

I am not mush.

I have to update this thread with a golden oldie that I used to watch a lot as a kid.

Zoids-Chaotic Century.

Oh yes you are. All it is is some kids and their personal emotions, with long pauses in between actions. Kind of sucked.

I liked Zoids new century zero when I was younger. That was the first time I learned anime shows usually end way too early. They finally get to the big leagues and are going to celebrate by going on a vacation.

I thought that was the end of the season.

It was the end of the show.

I was pissed.
