Had the internet bloke round today installing new super-duper fast internet gizmo thingy and he saw my Avatar poster and turns out he is a big film fan. Anyway he told me Avatar was not coming out until 2016. I was like WHAT!!!!

WAAAAHHHHH....

Oh well, I bet James Cameron will be taking it to a whole new level if he has had to delay release by 2 years...

Maybe they need a hand? There's a whole hoard of Avatar Fans out here willing!

Alan

Or Valve syndrome for that matter.

Valve syndrome would be awesome. Sure it takes a long time, but look at the quality.

Empty Glass, agreed 100%! JC owes us that book. At least for all the time we have to wait, we should get something to read.

I wonder, having read some of the articles about 'Grace coming back', whether the films are the book...? Duno. The book was meant to be a pre-quel to Avatar from memory. Time will tell...unfortunately a 'lot' of time

I agree, as much as we all want this out asap, Id rather wait and be totally satisfied by the movie than have it come out on time and not be happy with the movie. What an utter disappointment that would be.

You can still wait.

I've said this before, but I think this merits my saying it again.

I guarantee ToS will be here, and I will do my best to keep it together as a community. I will do whatever it takes, because Avatar NEEDS a strong community. That needs everyone here to show the same commitment to just being a part that we do to 'keeping the lights on', so to speak.

We always knew it was going to be a long wait... specifically how long doesn't matter, because we know what we are waiting form and it will be amazing, and worth every second.

I don't even care what the book is about anymore, if it's a prequel or what. I just hope it's very long and well written, and that it is released soon.

BESIDES, it gives ME more time to learn Na'vi!! You can count on Ateyo and I sticking around as long as ToS is on the net.

Well, let's just get the rest of us involved in the different Role playing Groups. We can have a BALL doing that.
