Mika, I did a slow skim over your entries and was looking for something but didn't find it, so sorry if this is in it.

When I was little I felt very in touch with nature, looking back now I never realized how deep it was. But let me explain.

Imo - We are over thinking this. Being connected to nature is to have no objectives when you are in nature. There is no trail, there is no path, there is no me, there is no trees. There is just nature and I am part of it. You have to look at everything as part of your world, just as you do in your home.

You think nothing special about sitting down and reading a book on the couch, but in nature it's a special occasion. And as long as that is in your thoughts, nature will always be apart from you.

Overtime your mind be will begin to perceive nature in different forms, the feelings that you pull from nature will be strong, and as you move inside of nature, your feelings will move. It is really cool actually, sounds, smells, sights will become real in your mind, you hear a bird, and your mind turns your head and points your eyes at it and a hundred different things go through your head at the same time.

Sorry if this seems kinda silly, but this was all happening from when I was around 6 till I got a PS2, so I haven't been that in touch with nature for a while. I miss it.
