WOW, you have it BAD, girl. I guess that one of the reasons that Avatar struck so many different chords, on so many different levels, is that apart from BEING Trudy for years while being in the Army, and apart from FEELING at my core what Jake said about finding just one thing in his life WORTH dying for, being half Native American, I was raised with the understanding of "the wheel', and a reverence for the planet that feeds, clothes, shelters, and nurtures us.
Because of all that, it wasn't so much a "new" eye opening, Earth shattering revelation to me, as an extreme case of COMING HOME.
Here I found a number of people from all over the planet, many of whom are not Native by first birth, who have seen this story, taken it's message to heart, and because of their new found ability to NINGAY KAME the truth that was glossed over, and covered by corporate lies, and a learned from childhood greed, have, if they accepted the call to awakening, recieved a SECOND birth. Not to a Na'vi body, but to a Na'vi SPIRIT which will outlast the body.
