I'd agree with your interpretation (in bold). Also, the fact that she was asleep, in your dream... could it mean something? hmm... You reminded me of a snake dream I had a few nights ago. I don't have a snake phobia, I dreamed about snakes very few times, and they were wise & teaching me things (one was the Australian Rainbow Snake, & the other the Mayan Plumed Snake, Quetzal-Quattl). But this dream was different: I entered a sea for a swim & saw a dangerous & very poisonous sea snake swimming towards me. I managed to grab it just behind its head so it wouldn't be able to harm me, & threw it away - but it kept coming back; this repeated several times, then I decided to wake up. The sensation was rather disgusting, that of a repeated frustrated effort, like: "Would you just disappear!?" - & it wouldn't. When I woke up I pondered on a possible similarity in the real life & decided that the dream reflected the vibes at work: some people dislike me for... having a positive attitude. (Whatever the scenario, I usually say: "Well, at least the sun has risen today - and it's a good thing!" - thus depriving them of an excuse to complain about everything). Now, what was the remedy against vampires? crosses, holy water, stakes? Oh, I know: arrows dipped in garlic juice! ![]() (I've just thought of the anti-troll remedy: just ignore them, don't give them the pleasure of reacting to them, and they will leave you in peace - but that's precisely what I was doing in my dream, just throwing the snake away even trying not to harm it - & it didn't work. I must think of something else )
