As my personal reply to THAT travesty, I don't care who comes out with what, if it isn't Avatar two, or Avatar three, in the future, I am NOT paying to watch it. I will NOT have MY money go to the coffers of a Studio, writer, producer, or actors too timid to make a movie as powerful as Avatar. I wouldn't give you a DIME for all of business as usual, back room deals, Academy of Motion Pictures, and their ilk.

A silent movie? Wow. Could only be more hipster if it was in black and white and made in a shed in Kerbleckistan. Yet again they show their complete refusal to recognise actual success and good quality.

I didn't even bother paying any attention to what was nominated, it barely even registered they were happening for me.
