Does Jake flip Quaritch the double-bird?

I have not seen the movie in the theater or on DVD, only on HBO. I was wondering about the scene where Jake jumps onto the Dragon assault ship and pulls the pins on the grenades. Right when he gets up close to the cockpit, he appears to be looking right at Quaritch just before he is going to throw the grenades into the turbine.
Question: In the theatrical or DVD versions, does Jake give a two-fingered salute to Quaritch as he flicks the pins on the grenades? The look on his face certainly indicates a "screw you" moment.
