Default Starbound-Its Terraria...IN SPACE!!!

Starbound

Dear sweet Eywa YES! I lost SO many hours of my life to Terraria and now they are basically remaking it...but in space....on multiple planets....with a story line!!!

Ohh how I hope I can terraform a world to make it into something resembling Pandora.

...I already was kinda interested in terraria...

This might tip the scales, especially if I can have some shiny power armor.

Terraria is sadly going "away" IE the major designers will no longer be working on it, mostly because they are all going to Starbound. Terraria may be bought by someone else.

Starbound looks like its Terraria but a couple hundred times better. There is an actual plot line and multiple planets, all of which are going to be randomly generated out of a pool. I am of course actively petitioning for a Pandora themed world.

Terraria still had so much potential

Starbound looks great (even if, as I guess it probably will, a lot of the code will be ripped off from Terraria in regards to worldgen, etc), but I like Terraria too

Starbound looks pretty great. Too bad I couldn't really play Terraria functionally until it was past production.

Edit: The Starbound creatures really remind me of Pokemon

^Terraria is great regardless. I have logged close to 200 hundred hours in it since it launched! A good 100 of that was in Sept/Nov when I joined the server run over on TvTropes. It was started after the last "major" patch.

There is still plenty to do in Terraria and its still a great game even though it won't be getting anymore "official support", though that may happen anyway as the rumor is another developer bought it.
