Started with the Na'vi bust base some days ago, it's about 10cm high.

Next step is adding modelling clay and modelling it But I don't know yet how I should make the hair. Should it be made out of clay, too, or should I use some more realistic hair, like from a wig? Hm... And I need to buy glow-in-the-dark-paint...

It's not finished yet. I guess I'll have to redo the ears and add some more jawbones to her face and this and that. Was a lot of fun, already looking forward to continue working on this.

What's next? Painting?

Nope, still modelling and rasping/fine-tuning until I think it's fine the way it is. Then I'll do casts of it, approx. 2 for the start (one for me and one for sell, if anyone is interested, the original "prototype" will stay unpainted for more casts if I'll do some more) and then paint them with acrylics and glow-in-the-dark-paint for the luminescent pores, and maybe varnish for a shiny look on her eyeballs and lips.

I did it with a heavy heart, but it was necessary. Because I have to redo the whole bust. I'll make it bigger now, so adding/modelling details will be easier... and more like... you know... eye candy. At least I'll try.
