Yeah, it's difficult to watch a movie for one hour without somebody turning on a light, the phone ringing, etc. It's one of the draw backs of watching a movie at home. The last movie I watched was '2012' (to test the new TV and speakers). Within three hours of watching the film, there were at least six or more distractions. That may seem small, but it doesn't make watching movies very enjoyable.

I'm trying to convince my family to move the TV into a smaller room, one which can be used as a "movie room", though, currently, I have my home theater set up in the living room.
